Afrobeats stars Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Asake are set to headline the Afro Nation 2026 festival in Portugal. The organisers shared the full line-up on X, featuring a mix of top Afrobeats, R&B, dancehall, and amapiano artists. Alongside the official poster, they posted: “PHASE 3 IS HERE. Legacy energy meets Afro Nation debuts. This is the sound of a summer taking shape.”
The three-day event will run from 3rd July to 5th July 2026 at Praia da Rocha Beach in Portimão. Burna Boy will open the festival on 3rd July with South African star Tyla, followed by Asake on 4th July, while Wizkid will perform on the final night.
American singer Kehlani and rapper Gunna will join the show as special guests. Other Nigerian artists on the bill include Olamide, Young Jonn, Darkoo, Wande Coal, and Mavo. Early Access tickets go on sale on 5th February. Afro Nation is a major annual celebration of African music, and the 2026 festival is expected to be even bigger than last year’s event, which featured Burna Boy, Davido, Tems, and Qing Madi.
